Although we recycle the majority of the waste that enters our site, there is still always a proportion that cannot be recycled. For this waste we need a Landfill to dispose of the leftover materials adequately. We have been Landfilling on our site for the past twenty five years. In September 2010 we received our most recent extension to the existing Landfill; this allowed us to continue our business whilst we strive to find even greener solutions. We have planning permission for our own renewable energy plant on site and once this is up and running, the amount of waste heading to landfill will be even more drastically reduced.
