The landfill is licensed to take the following waste types for disposal at full rate:
Mixed municipal waste collected by local councils;
Commercial and industrial waste streams absent of recyclable products;
Pre-sorted waste from transfer stations;
Once this waste has been tipped on the landfill we have a full time landfill operative who will spread the load evenly over the surface using a capable machine and add heavy cover materials to prevent any light components of the load e.g. polythene from blowing off of the landfill site.
